Beyond textbooks and classrooms, teachers redefine versatility every day. Today our teachers orchestrated a magical assembly on Children's Day! From acting out a play to singing for them, today was all about celebrating the incredible spirit of students and making them realise that they MATTER!

G.D. Goenka Public School, East Delhi, took a proactive step by organizing a special assembly in line with CBSE on November 3, 2023, to educate students of grades VI-XII on traffic rules and road safety. From reducing pollution to the importance of helmets and highway traffic rules, our students are well-equipped to be responsible road users. The prime focus of the assembly was the pledge taken by the students.

The motto: Say no to corruption; commit to the Nation, is so empowering to fight corruption! 

G.D. Goenka Public School conducted a special assembly on the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week as initiated by the CBSE. A compelling debate on the possibility of eradicating corruption from our nation and a pledge helped students delved deep into the roots of this issue and explored its impact. Let us uphold honesty and integrity, shaping a brighter future for our country.

Goenkans of Grade 1 and 2 shine in a captivating Ramleela Stage Show, weaving the timeless tale of Lord Rama with enthusiasm and grace. The head of the school, Ms. Renu Ajay commends the young talents for their stellar performance, emphasizing the importance of cultural celebration and values.

The investiture ceremony at G.D. Goenka Public School, East Delhi was marked by dignity and grandeur. Led by the Head of the School, Ms. Renu Ajay, students, clad in immaculate uniforms, displayed discipline during the march past. The newly appointed student council members, selected for their expertise, assumed roles as Prefects, Vice-Captains, and Captains. With over 40 students from grades 10 to 12, the event served as a powerful emblem of effective leadership and unwavering discipline. . The Head Boy and Head Girl hoisted the school flag, signifying unity and excellence. Head of School Ms. Renu Ajay's inspiring speech emphasized integrity, setting the tone for the academic year. The ceremony reaffirmed the school's values under the motto - Higher, Stronger & Brighter.

“ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. ” On Wednesday , 11th October 2023, The Second Global Career and Scholarship Fair in collaboration with Uni-Interact and Upschol was organised by G.D. Goenka Public School, East Delhi, in the school auditorium, for grades XI and XII. The Career Fair is not merely an event, it is a dynamic arena where dreams converge with reality, where ambition meets opportunity and where potential is nurtured into professional success. It is a platform where students from various disciplines can explore a world of possibilities. More than 30+ universities from India and abroad were present with professional mentors and experts to guide and provide insights to students. The students were graced by the presence of the eminent guest speaker Mr. Anubhav Rakheja, known as the Growth Hacker and Strategist to various edtech startups and Mr. Akshay Sahni, with a vision of democratizing education, with a goal to empower individuals to choose the best-suited options, making quality education accessible to all. “ Life will not end at IIT ”, said the speaker, Mr. Anubhav Rakheja. He busted myths related to the career options available to certain courses. The students and parents interacted with the representatives and gained insights about industries they had not considered previously. It was enriching session both for the students and parents.  The HOS,  Ms.Renu Ajay provided a platform to the  students to explore varied avenues after Class XII. She in her address highlighted the importance of such sessions for students and appreciated the presence of parents with an aim to make it fruitful for the Goenkans.

G.D. Goenka Public School in East Delhi is hosting a GLOBAL CAREER and SCHOLARSHIP FAIR in collaboration with Uni-Interact - UpSchol for students in grades XI & XII. The fair aims to help students- explore various career options, understand admission processes, scholarships and financial aid opportunities, gain exposure to multidisciplinary programs, discover global education possibilities, and explore new-age careers.   Around 40 diverse universities from India and abroad will be present with professional mentors and experts to provide guidance and insights to students. The school invites other institutions to participate in this event, emphasizing its commitment to nurturing students for successful future careers.

In the battle against Rabies, G.D. Goenka Public School, East Delhi, arranged an enlightening workshop on Rabies Prevention for students in grades V to VII. The session, led by an expert veterinarian, delved into the intricacies of rabies, its symptoms, and the importance of prevention. The interactive exchange of knowledge left students well-informed and prepared to fight this threatening disease.

Our thoughtful little Goenkans (Nur&KG) celebrated World Rhino Day (22 September) with great zeal and sentiments. Rhino race, fact check and group discussions helped the kids enjoy the day as well as sensitise them towards all dying out species. There are five different endangered species of rhinos including Sumatran, Black, Greater One-horned, Javan, and White rhino.

आज पूरा विश्व हिंदी भाषा की शक्ति को पहचान रहा है। भाषा अभिव्यक्ति का साधन होती है। भाषा अभिव्यक्ति का माध्यम होती है। हमारी भावनाओं को जब शब्द-देह मिलता है, तो हमारी भावनाएं चिरंजीव बन जाती है। इसलिए भाषा उस शब्द-देह का आधार होती है। उन शब्द-विश्व की जितनी हम आराधना करें, उतनी कम है।
