Ever thought about integrating Math with folk art? The students at G.D.Goenka have already done it in an inter house competition called Chitraganit. Marvelous painting styles are prevalent across various regions, representing the tradition, customs and beliefs. The theme of the competition was art integrated mathematical painting in folk art. The students of classes IX and XI presented their creative thought in the fusion art form and explained the Mathematical concepts. The primary aim of the competition was to nurture creativity, talent and to promote art integration with mathematics. The results were announced in the assembly by the head of School, Ms. Renu Ajay which are as follows- First Position – Radhakrishnan House Second Position- Tagore House Third Position- Vivekanand House

Maanvik Tuteja of class 5B bagged third position in the VIBGYOR Inter-School Poet Piper Poem Recitation Competition held on 5th December 2023 at Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec School,Vivek Vihar. His eloquence and poetic prowess truly stood out and has made us proud.
Halla Bol, an Inter-house Nukkad Natak Presentationrnfor classes 9 to 12- The medium of this event was Hindi. There were four teams from each house. The participants and thernaudience were equally excited to be a part of this event. Each house gave theirrnbest in bringing up important social issues such as consumer rights, mentalrnillness etc. Energetic performances, clear expressions and a lot of enthusiasmrncreated an apt atmosphere for all to introspect and enjoy at the same time. Arnpanel of two judges was set up for preparing the result and judging eachrnperformance under the prescribed criteria. Results were much awaited at thernend, which was finally declared by the Head of School, Ms. Renu Ajay. Sherncongratulated all the participants for their best efforts and awarded them therncertificates.
Inter-house competition on Sustainable Development Goals took place on December 7, 2023. Classes 7th and 8th participated with enthusiasm, showcasing creativity through skits in English. Four teams from each house interpreted the assigned sustainable development goals , leading to diverse performances. Results were announced by the Head of School, Ms. Renu Ajay, who congratulated participants and awarded certificates.

Alumni members Lakshay Aggarwal and Bhavya Chauhan from Batch 2020-21 joined a meeting with Head of School Ms. Renu Ajay on Saturday, 2nd December 2023. The focus was on discussing upcoming Alumni Meetings and Ms. Renu Ajay proposed involving all executive members to plan new activities for the Alumni Group. During the meeting, teachers Convener Ms. Gurjit Kaur and Mr. Bitto Saini shared insights on improving and motivating students to join the alumni group. Ms. Renu Ajay expressed gratitude to the participants and extended an invitation for the next executive committee meeting.

Once again our talented little goenkans proved themselves at an inter school patriotic group song competition held at Gandhi Darshan Rajghat . They competed with 32 reputed schools from Delhi - NCR and won the consolation prize.Their performance was highly appreciated by the judges and the audience.
