10th October is celebrated as World Mental Health Day worldwide, It’s a day of global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma that the world ‘Mental Illness’ carries along with it. In order to break the stigma, school took the initiative to hold multiple extra curricular activities to spread awareness about the same. It was virtually celebrated on 26th October 2020 on the theme “happiness”. Intra school poster making competition was being held on different topics related to Mental Health for classes 7th-12th. The students as well as teachers were psycho educated about mental health and related issues and their active participation in the campaign made the celebrations in school successful.

Together, let’s spread the awareness and break the stereotypes and help create happiness within and around us as much as possible.

With reference to the National Cyber Security Awareness Month(NCSAM) , students of classes III to XII delivered speech on Cyber Security in their respective class assemblies to evoke general awareness about how to be safe while working online.

40 Goenkan students from classes VIII-XII participated in the 5 days online workshop on physical computing & Artificial Intelligence by the resource person , Mr. Soumya Kishore who is a PITSCO certified robotics trainer and electronics developer. The students learnt circuit board designing , Arduino coding & had hands on experience on the same using Tinkercad software, they were also given insight of Artificial Intelligence & how it is becoming a part of our daily life.
