Languages form an important aspect of the schooling experience. At G.D Goenka Public School,East Delhi, we prioritise Indian and Foreign Languages in education. We had a special event called the Inter-House Sanskrit Drama Competition on August 24, 2023. Grade VII & VIII students excelled with unique presentations, acting, pronunciation, and expressions, showcasing their brilliant dramatic skills. The event proved to be the fruit of teamwork and cultural appreciation.Kudos to the participants, and everyone involved in organizing this event.
Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.
To keep the artistic fervour of our children alive, an Inter House competition on Relief with Tissue Paper painting was organized on 24August2023 for grades IX & X. The beautiful artworks of the students left everyone in awe and admiring their creativity. A relief is a wall-mounted sculpture in which the three-dimensional elements are raised from a flat base.
Goenkan student Vivan Gupta of class VIII B bagged II position in the Poster Mania event- Ethos , an Inter School Competition held at Vivekanand School , D block Anand Vihar.
They say , " The earlier the better " . Our little Goenkans (Classes 3-6) learned the know-how of the Road and Tyre Safety much earlier than they will be driving themselves on roads. A workshop conducted in school by Fun Troos Ventures LLP enlightened the Junior Goenkans on how to be safe on roads. Exciting Quiz on Traffic symbols, Riddles and Red-Green light dance games, made the learning experience engaging and effective.
G.D. Goenka Public School, East Delhi joyously celebrated the 77th Independence Day on August 12, 2023. The Chief Guest Shri Anshul Sirohi, IFS, Deputy Commissioner, Shahdara, South Zone Municipal Corporation of Delhi led the flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of freedom and unity. Adding to the patriotic fervor, students from the school's four houses performed an impressive March past, showcasing discipline and solidarity. The event exemplified the school's commitment to instilling a sense of national pride and values in its students. Ms. Anupama Chopra, Principal of the school in her address highlighted the rich culture of our country. She stressed every student to work with honesty and dedication towards the nation and uphold the dignity of our national flag.

Our students bagged 1st Position in Vodcast event in Digilogous held at Rukmini Devi Public School, Delhi. Students of class 11-12 also, presented their innovative business idea in Admad event & received consolation prize after competing with 33 teams from PAN India.
Ever heard of a mathematical tale? Our young Goenkans have mastered it by winning a position in Math o Tale Inter school CONFLUENCE Competition held at Ahlcon Public School Mayur Vihar. It was not a cake walk grabbing a place out of 32 participating schools. A proud moment for the school indeed!
GDGI MUN23 at G.D. Goenka Public School,rnVasant Kunj, was a remarkable event held from 3 to 5th August 2023. The conferencernfeatured various committees, including UNSC, UNHRC, and UNGA. As a visiting school, the experience wasrnenriching and insightful. Delegates engaged in productive debates, addressingrnpressing global issues. The conference had a well-organized structure andrnexperienced chairs fostered an atmosphere of learning and cooperation. Overall,rnGDGI MUN23 provided an excellent platform for students to enhance theirrndiplomatic skills and deepen their understanding of international affairs. Thernevent was a success, leaving a positive impact on all participants.

The students designed headlines for articles on how to capture the attention of the reader without compromising its essence. The students were ecstatic to showcase their creativity while making headlines for the same.
