The Interact Club of G.D. Goenka School, East Delhi, joined hands with CanSupport to organize a Cancer Prevention Rally & Awareness Workshop! Over 175 students marched through the community, spreading vital messages on prevention, healthy living, and early detection.
Class IX & X students explored mythology through the Odyssey and Mahabharata, crafting vibrant deity profiles in a two-phase competition. After a challenging preliminary round, finalists showcased their creativity and research in the finals . The event was a brilliant celebration of storytelling, culture, and student talent.
Today, our school came together to observe World Autism Day with a special assembly led by Class X. Students hosted an insightful talk show, highlighting the unique behaviors of individuals with autism and emphasizing the power of kindness, patience, and inclusivity in creating a supportive world. Students from Classes III to XII took a pledge to promote autism awareness and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.Our Head of School (HOS) Ma’am inspired everyone with her heartfelt words, reminding us that empathy and understanding make our community stronger.
The Philately Exhibition was a grand success, bringing together enthusiasts, students, and collectors to explore the fascinating world of stamps.
Day 2 was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries Sh. Harsh Malhotra ji( Member of Lok Sabha), Col. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey Ji (CPMG), HoS Renu Ajay & Mr. Nikhil Maheshwari from Management of G.D.Goenka Public School. East Delhi. Interschool Drawing Competition was organised that unleashed the creativity of the young artists by designing unique and imaginative drawing. Magic Show added a touch of wonder to the event, and captivated the audience.InterschoolQuiz competition highlighted enthusiastic participation from students , testing their knowledge of philately, history, and postal services.The main highlight of the event was prize distribution ceremony wherein Sh. Harsh Malhotra ji honored the winners and presented them certificates as a token of appreciation.
YAMUNAPEX-25: A Celebration of Philately!
India Post, in collaboration with GD Goenka School, East Delhi, hosted the Yamunapex-25 Philately Exhibition, igniting curiosity and creativity among young minds!Day 1 was graced by the presence of Distinguished dignitaries Sh. Events like Inter-School Letter Writing & Stamp of Designing Competitions, were organised where students had an oppurtunity to showcase their artistic and literary skills and the highlight was releasing of philatelic ancillaries.

The Special Heartfelt Farewell Assembly to our outgoing Class XII of session 2024-25 was a deeply emotional moment, filled with gratitude, pride, and nostalgia. As we reflected on their incredible journey, it was a reminder of the growth, dedication, and strength they’ve shown through their years at GD Goenka.
